Kim Kardashian Inspirations

Studettes: A Kim Kardashian Inspo.

Hope you beauties are having a blessed week so far!
Todays look was inspiration from Kim Kardashian (here).  When I first saw her in this outfit, I was not feeling it.  The Pencil skirt and shoes yes, but the boxy top?  No! I hated it.

When I came across a similar top at Annie Sez, I had to study the look before I made the purchase.  I must've been in that store 20 times before I decided to get it.  When I did decide to get it, it was on sale from $69.99 to $29.99.  You know me by now, boy do I love a good bargain.  The original look of this top was VERY boxy, but I had my seamstress taylor it to my liking.  This is my interpretation of Kim's Versace look.  Did I pull it off?

I apologize for the quality of pictures.  It was taken indoors and the lighting was poor.
Or maybe its just the camera on my phone.

High Contrast: Kim K. Inspo

Hey my lovely readers! Hope all the moms had a spectacular Mother's Day.

Todays look was inspired by a variety of Kim Kardashians outfits.
The first inspo was from her True Reflection signing during 2012 Fashion Night Out which I attended (here & here).  Her outfit was so simple but glamorous yet sophisticated (here).  My second inspo was this black leather dress (here) which I couldn't find anywhere during the fall but is now on sale almost everywhere.  Oh how I dislike when that happens! My third and final inspo was the dress which she wore to the BET Awards (here).  This dress is so beautiful and I'm still in search for one like it.  Maybe not such a low back but definitely white and midi length.

In all 3 of these pics her hair is either slick back and down or slick back and in a ponytail. I just love the sophistication and clean look of these hairstyles. Very classy modern.  I also wanted to portray this springs "high contrast/mute of color" trend by adding these lovely pair of white ankle strap sandals. What do you think? Did I somewhat pull off the look?

Kim K. Leopard Inspo

Thanks for stopping by on this oh so lovely day fashion lovers!
Hope you all had a blessed and successful week.

Here's another Kim K. Inspiration ladies!!! My inspiration came from two of her looks:
#1 The opening of Kardashian Chaos at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas; here.
#2  The launch of the Belle Noelle  Collection at Bloomingdales in NYC; here.

I wore this outfit for a night out with friends.  It was supposed to be my Valentine outfit but, decided to go in a different direction (here & here).
I am so in love with this leopard wrap dress.  Usually loose dresses don't look the very best on me but I particularly liked how this one looked.  It was a bit staticky, but overall comfy and sexy.
The thigh high boots are from Shoedazzle.  The heels are comfortable but the top kept slipping down, which is irregular because I have thick thighs.  Also, I apologize for the not so clear pics.  They were taken after dinner and the lighting at the restaurant was dim.

The highlight of the evening was, Montel Williams opening the door for me!!! ( struck)

Kim K. Gucci Inspo

Welcome 2013!
2012 has been an amazing year.
I look forward to the awesome blessings the Lord will bring my way in 2013.
My most memorable achievement for the year was starting this blog
to inspire women across the globe; and most importantly young mothers.
Motherhood is the most beautiful thing that can happen to a woman.

"Your body changes and matures
which is all the right reasons to dress it up even more!"

In the last giveaway one of the entry rules was to
send me a holiday outfit to recreate and feature on my blog.
So here it is!  I chose Rovina's outfit (here).

When Kim posted a pic on her instagram of this dress back in October,I fell in love.
Of course I searched for a replica, God knows I can't afford a Gucci gown yet.
I gave up until I received the pic in my inbox.
Thanks to Rovina my motivation to get this dress went up from 0 to 100.
When I want something I must get it!  I finally found a v-neck wrap top.
I pondered for weeks of how I can get a skirt to match this top.  I finally contacted
a seamstress.  She said she had a lot on her plate for the holidays but if I had a picture and the material she can do it, once its a simple style.  I printed the pic, went to a local cloth store, made
my purchase and viola!
My outfit recreation of Kim Kardashian's Gucci velvet dress.
It was my NYE outfit.

Christmas Florals; A Kim K. Inspo

Hey dolls! Here's yet another look from the holiday outfits
I've created on Polyvore (here).

Kim Kardashian wore a similar outfit to lunch with
Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick in Miami.

When it comes to pencil skirts it's top of my things to wear list
because it fits my curves perfectly.  Peplum tops give the illusion
of a smaller waist.  When you pair pencil, peplum and curves; you have an amazingly
beautiful shape and silhouette.

In the pics, I somehow look short and stubby.  I believe the material of the top
failed to give me the cinched waist effect.
My favorite is the back shot pic (below).

Kim K. Loose & Slick Back Hair Inspo

Thank God my internet is up and running again!!!
This look was since the first week of November.  How ridiculous is that?
It is super comfortable, loose fitting and relaxed.

I was inspired by Kim K.'s recent outfit and hairstyle transformation

Trending this season is "Gothic Black."
Although I don't like the term, I do love the look.
C'mon which girl does not love black?
There just so much sexiness and femininity to this color
(depending on how you dress it up).

Again, I apologize for disappearing!
To make it up I will be doing an "accessory giveaway"
Stay posted!

Kim K. Blazer Dress Inspo

Immediately after seeing Kim in this lovely Balmain Blazer dress and Gianvito pumps, I just had to find myself the same look for LESS! I also did a Kim K. slick back inspired hairstyle.

Sometime last year I saw a sexy blazer dress at Fredericks of Hollywood online store. Thankfully, when I checked back this September it was still there! Just in time for my 7yr. wedding anniversary dinner. Of course I customized the dress (with gold buttons) to make it look more like Kim's. I was able to find a similar pump at Shoedazzle.

As for the lovely evening spent at The View Restaurant (a revolving rooftop restaurant) in the middle of Times Square with my Baby; it was an amazingly romantic atmosphere. As we were served our drinks, and appetizers, the restaurant revolved in slow motion sightseeing, the Hudson river, Times Square, the Empire state building, and more. It was a beautiful and intimate moment as we laughed and reminisced on the years we've spent together.

Kim K. Lacey Inspiration

Kim Kardashian's Valentino dress which she wore to her Perfume launch
in London was drop dead gorgeous!  Red is my favorite color
which is why the dress caught my attention and the lace added a sweet romantic touch.
Not forgetting the sweetheart neckline and the way it wrapped her curves!

I found a similar dress for way less at a local boutique in NY.
I was attending an event which required to wear all white, so
when I saw the dress I knew it was the perfect piece for the occasion and it
reminded me very much of Kim's beautiful look.

Kim K. Inspiration

This is another Kim Kardashian Inspiration.
She wore this outfit a day out on the town shopping.
I on the other hand wore it to the movies.
It's a pretty casual look.
I went for a lower heel choice than Kim which was comfortable for me
The leather pant and spike bracelet added a bit of edge.
