Fancy Illusion

Hello, Ladies and Gents!

When you finally get around to trying a trend, all about four or five seasons ago.  The illusion style has been around for a while.  Growing up, I remember seeing the style on entertainers, such as dancers, skaters and singers.  Significantly, the trend has been around since the 1700's.  It made its come back in the 70's on the big screen, then died off.  The illusion style finally started trending in 2008 down runways and red carpets.  It still remains popular amongst people like you and I today.

When you look at this outfit, you may ask, is she trying to show off her body (shape, curves, etc.)?  In fact, yes! I am.  Am I trying to show it off to get attention or to offend other women? Hell to the no!  I would never wear this outfit if my husband isn't with me, to answer the first question.  And I have worked extremely hard after a c-section (Noah,6), an epidural enhanced delivery (Caleb, 5) and natural delivery (Jonah, 11months) to fit into a dress like this.

To all my mommy viewer, followers, friends and family, you don't have to be a size 2 to wear a hot trend.  You don't need an injection or a tuck to rock this frock.  All you need is a good pair of Spanx and a whole lot of confidence.  For a woman with 3 children I feel damn good!  Whether you have 1 child, or a dozen, your body is beautiful.  Believe it or not, there may be women with amazing figures, admiring you, wishing their bodies can produce a miracle like yours did.  The next time you feel frustrated by your weight or marks on your skin, look at your miracle, give him or her a kiss, then go shopping!

Now, back to Vegas.  I wore this two piece set one evening to attend a show.  It was an acrobatic water show where I could've just worn shorts and slippers to, but "extra" is my middle name.  After the show we dined at STK in the Cosmopolitan Hotel.  Not to over exaggerate, but the food was so freaking good!!!!  I will definitely be trying one of the many restaurants they have here, in NY.

Be confident, be inspired and shine on...
