I recently heard a comedian say, "angles are a girls best friend." Well he sure was right. The gym has definitely been working out great. I'm much more energetic and feel way more confident in my skin. Being a mom of three is no excuse for my bad angles...haha! Meaning the gut that pops in side shots.
I lost the baby weight from my second and third child pretty quickly by watching what I ate during and after the pregnancies, as well as staying fit. Unfortunately with baby number one, I ate everything I craved and in large portions. I ate pizza everyday for 6 months, consumed McDonald's fries and was addicted to starbucks venti hot chocolate. I gained a total of 80lbs during that pregnancy, OUCH!!! I dont know how many of you moms can testify to this, but doesn't the craving lag even after giving birth? Ugh, this was my issue. And I was never disciplined when it came to eating. I always ate what I wanted and was able to maintain a good weight. Too bad that didn't work after having children and increasing in age (metabolism slows down). When my first child was about 6 months old and I was completely overweight, guess who finally decided to get up and go do something about it? I was loosing weight so quickly, my nutritionist was in awe at every time I got on the scale. Four months into getting back to my "before mommy" body I was pregnant with kid #2. That time around I was extra careful. I satisfied my cravings with small portions and I tried to eat as healthy as possible. Same with my recent pregnancy. I have no idea what my weight is currently. I refuse to look at a scale. When I see numbers I go into a hiatus and get frustrated. So I just do my 4-5x a week workout, drink lots of water and eats lots of fruits and veggie. I'm a huge sweet toother, which is why these angles are not good for me. Hold on while I grab a piece of cadbury..hehe
Be confident, be inspired and shine on...
