Have you ever felt overwhelmed by the set backs you've hit in life? Maybe your education was put on hold? Or your dream job slipped out of your hands? Perhaps a gleaming friendship turned into dullness? Or maybe failed relationships?
The fact of the matter is, in a moment it may seem like life is over or cannot go on. But, things that fail the first time may turn out good the second time. While other times greater and brighter things are in store for you. When you start to look at the good in every situation you're facing, you will be astonished by the faith you have. When things don't go our way, 100% of the time we are ready to throw in the towel and call it quits. Sometimes God tests our patience and most of the time he tests our faith.
When I graduated high school in 2006 I was hopeful of attending the Fashion Institute of Technology. However, life took a detour. I had to go through a process. I had to mature. I had to build relationships and set other goals. Years later God opened doors for me to finally attend the college of my dreams. Were there doubts? Sure! But in my heart I knew what I wanted and most importantly God knew what I desired.
That just goes to show, what you may want now, may not be what's right for you at this moment. But, once you stay faithful to what you have now, God will eventually give you your hearts desire. So, be happy for where you are now, because where you're going will be ten times greater than you expected.
Be confident, be inspired and shine on...
