I was finally able to retrieve these pictures from my camera. Honestly I didn't want to post them because I was feeling a bit bloated or maybe fat. Darn! Who am I kidding? I was really feeling insecure about my weight which showed like crazy in these pics. But after reading some of my old blog posts, I felt a calmness and told myself, I just gave birth and it will take time. This particular week I pigged out and had such a sweet tooth due to my monthly friend which has returned...ugh!
I have lots of work to do when it comes to getting fit. My initial goal was to get into crossfit. However, after many reviews I came to the understanding that crossfit is an intense workout where you burn calories and gain a great amount of muscle. No way on Gods green earth do I want to look like Arnold Schwarzenegger, lol. In all realness, once you start building muscles you must keep up with it or else it will all turn into ridiculous fat. Knowing myself, I was not ready for that commitment. So I decided to take it slowly and get into the gym when I feel the time is right. Like in my last post, I'm still waist training and try my very best to eat properly. Can we talk about Thanksgiving which is one week away???? Oh, Lord please help me! How can I not have ham, lasagna, potato scallops, cream spinach, and all the sweets that say eat me. Ahhhhhhh. Salad and Turkey is so boring. Pray for me y'all.
Sorry for blabbing. As far as my outfit goes, I simply wore a fitted dress to accentuate my waist (wait...what waist?) And added a longline vest which looked super chic and helped me to hide visible bulges. I've been feeling the choker necklace trend, so I decided to give it a try. Wasn't too excited about how it looked, but I'll probably give it another try with a different outfit. Warning: you may be seeing a lot of longline clothing. Yes, it is trending but.its so perfect for my post pregnancy body.
Until the next post, be blessed, be confident!
