BELLA Clutch

Hey beauties!
Two weeks ago I had the privilege of attending Dana Prigge's "Spring Fever" event at Neiman Marcus Last Call.  It was an experience indeed, being seated in the middle of a luxury designer department store amongst great bloggers, writers and creative minds (while shoppers took a peek).  My taste buds went on a roller coaster with peculiar yet scrumptious treats.  That evening I walked away with some great styling tips for this spring; like investing in a white denim jacket,  adding a scarf of color or pattern to give my outfit a pop, and adding jeweled head pieces for a bohemian look.  I've attended three of many events Dana has hosted/coordinated, and each time I've been empowered and inspired.  I am grateful for the connections I've gained through these events.  Thank you to Rhea of sewstylishrhea for being kind enough to drive to NJ for the event.

Now, for my outfit!  I changed my outfit so many times in my head.  With the unruling weather, I was at loss for fashion.  A few days before the event, I came across a current trend: The magazine/book clutch.  I thought this was such a unique trend that I had to get my hand on one of these.  I searched and searched and found many great magazine clutch at pretty affordable price tags, but still I was not satisfied.  I came across a diy magazine clutch here.  First thing that came to mind, BELLA Magazine!  I thought, why not make my own magazine clutch out of a magazine I actually read and support? Why not create a super cute staple piece of the magazine I'll be in?!?   You know it, I got right to it.  There were a few bumps along the road of creating this masterpiece, but with the amazing team of Bella Magazine, I was able to
pull this project through.

With all that said, I was circulating my outfit around the clutch.  I already knew what shoe I was going to pair my clutch with, but my outfit?  That took me 3 changes to finally decide on going with this beautiful floral sketch turquoise dress.
What's your favorite spring trend?

Be Confident, be Inspired & ENJOY...
