Hello my beautiful dolls.
How I missed blogging! School has been so hectic lately. I've started a fashion photography class which is 7 hours long on Saturdays. Although, it's long hours and a ton of work, I am loving it. I find joy in participating and being a part of the professional world. Scroll down for more on my new career path.
This outfit was put together last minute. I was very pleased with the outcome. My hair on the other hand needed some help. I was going for a neat spiral curl look but ended up with this wild somewhat bushy locks. It reminds me of a lion's mane; hence the "Lioness" caption on the first photo. I was totally digging the gold accessories accompanied by the leopard skirt. Are you guys feeling the leopard trend this season?

With a week given to put together an editorial story, my team and I were on panic mode. The showrooms we contacted to pull clothing for the editorial photoshoot was a no show. With time winding down, myself and another Stylist/Photographer decided we would pull items from our own closet. With only email and photo messages I was able to combine my wardrobe along with the other stylists wardrobe to create a story, "Glam Rock: The Life of a Modern Woman". From work to play, dinner to party, socialite to sexy playmate, 10 looks summed up the story. It was a very long process and my first attempt at styling a photo shoot. I had the opportunity of working with an amazing group of professional photographers, models, hairstylist and makeup artist. I definitely learned a lot from this past week. My new career choice is definitely a heart desire come true. This just goes to show, your dreams and aspirations can be a reality. Just strive for the best and push for what you want.
